As you're lying on the couch watching the Olympics, feeling like an out-of-shape slacker, questioning why you haven't achieved such glory in your life, remember that these Olympic stars are ultimately no better or no worse than you. Gold medals don't stop a person from needing to love or to be loved.
So sure, it's awesome to watch such amazing talent. But you've got talent too, in other ways. Everyone does. I might not be able to compete on the parallel bars, but if there were a parallel parking competition, I'd win the gold for sure. And I come from the suburbs, beeatches!
