12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief

Looks like Sir Paul McCartney is going to be taking Kurt Cobain's place at the Nirvana reunion tonight during the Madison Square Garden concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Here's the story about how that idea came about.  I always thought Dave Grohl was more Paul McCartney to Kurt Cobain's John Lennon, but if your choices are only living musicians I guess that's the way they had to go.

Find out how to watch or listen to the concert here.  You can watch it via live-stream online, on many US and International TV stations, as well as in select movie theaters across the nation.  You can listen to it on select US radio stations.  It starts at 7:30PM ET.  It should be interesting.  Other performers include Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Rogers Waters, Kanye West, and The Who.

According to this tweet from Rolling Stone, Eddie Vedder will sing "Comfortably Numb" with Rogers Waters. That should be fantastic!  I can't wait to watch it.

Boomers and Slackers unite!
