TO work on our own transgressions, of wheich we often have many, and not be concerneid as much with where others are in their walk.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1498105551688934461.post-52027221794852459552013-01-15T13:37:38.870-06:002013-01-15T13:37:38.870-06:00All I can say is preach on Brother Mark. All I can say is preach on Brother Mark.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1498105551688934461.post-31323992974630809682012-09-25T09:26:16.911-05:002012-09-25T09:26:16.911-05:00Thanks for your comments, Stephanie! I def think he means that we should hate the sin in ourselves and change what we can change. Then and only then can we show others that they can do the same, to be the light to the world we are meant to be.
StephanieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1498105551688934461.post-69229632176470972912012-08-27T08:58:10.207-05:002012-08-27T08:58:10.207-05:00Thanks for your comment, Mr. Woodburn. What I get out of these quotes is this: I am in control of myself and no one else. I can love other people, but I cannot change them. I might be able to set a good example by living a life full of love, but maybe not. I can only change myself. Life is short. Let's focus our energy on positive ways we can actually improve this world, by starting with ourselves. Peace and love to you, sir. So I'm supposed ...I honestly don't get it. So I'm supposed to love the child rapist (fine), but not hate his child-raping? I'm supposed to love the murderer, but not hate his murdering? On something so important as this, he needs to watch his words. Oh, and while he claims he doesn't have time to hate the the sins of the sinners, he has time to tell the rest of us to (apparently) be indifferent about the sins of others.
